Goji Berry Health Benefits

For women, aging can be one of the biggest issue beside weight and acne. Lots of ways are taken to stay young, like using cosmetics, supplement, or even plastic surgery.

In reality, there is an easier and natural way to get the secret of youth. Do what the Empress of China used to do long time ago, by consuming Goji Berry. What is Goji Berry?

Goji Berry is a fruit that comes from the himalayan. This small sized fruit with bright orange-red color also known with the name lycium barbarum or wolfberry and known to have the highest nutrition compared to other fruits in the earth. What nutrition this super fruit has anyway?

Inside Goji Berry it has Lychium barbarum polysaccharides (LBP) which only Goji Berry has. LBP has anti aging property that help cell growth, increase DNA regeneration, help slow aging, keep body healthy, and keep your face look fresh and young.  Research has also show that Goji Berry extract can promote brain health and prevent Alzheimer.

This fruit is also pack with vitamin C and antioxidant. Vitamin C is important to keep you healthy and away from cold so it is important. Antioxidant is good for preventing DNA mutation which mean it can prevent cancer.

Let’s compare vitamin C and antioxidant in Goji Berry with other fruits shall we? An average orange which weigh around 200 g has 50 mg of vitamin C in it, while 200 g of Goji Berry has around 3000 mg of vitamin C which is 60 times many. An average 100 g grapefruit has 500 antioxidant in ORAC scale while average 100 g Goji Berry has 25000 antioxidant in ORAC scale.

Even though it is unbelievably awesome number you need to get it fresh from the garden to get that number. Where the usual Dried Goji Berry or processed Goji berry that we usually get has smaller number than that and even so small it would seem it has no vitamin or antioxidant at all.

People with pollen allergies should be not consume it as it can give you allergic reaction. Eat in small portion should be fine for people with pollen allergies, but don’t eat it too much.
