Difference Between Strep And Sore Throat

Somewhere in our lives we usually have a disease that cause pain to swallow and discomfort to the throat like sore or strep throat. You should know the difference between these two because each of them are caused by different thing. One is caused by virus and the other is caused by bacteria. So giving an antibiotics can be useless when it is just a common sore throat.

Strep throat is generally much more pain in the ass as the sore throat it gave is much more intense and sometimes it is so painful that you can’t even sleep. If you think that you have a strep throat you should go see a doctor and be given proper antibiotics. So how to differentiate the two again? Well, you have strep throat if you have these symptoms: The throat is red and white patches can commonly be seen, very intense sore throat, hard to swallow, rash, abdominal pain, fever, and headache. If you have a cold then it probably wasn’t a strep throat.

For a common sore throat it  just mean that your throat is inflamed. You don’t need to see a doctor for a common sore throat as you only need to take a lot of rest and wait for recovery.
