Have you ever wonder what are the symptoms of high blood pressure? Well, I do, so here are the list of what might happen if you have high blood pressure: shortness of breath, severe headache, pounding in the ears, bloody nose, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting or decrease energy. Wait, why might? It turns out that there are high chances that you won’t get these symptoms even when your blood pressure is super high.
So in real life, you will think you are safe because you haven’t show any symptoms of high blood pressure until its too late. Here are the symptoms of high blood pressure that happen when its too late: heart attack, heart failure, stroke, kidney failure, loss of vision, aneurysm, and leg pain. Yea… when you have stroke it would clearly show that its too late.
So the best way to know if you have high blood pressure or not is by checking it frequently. You can go to the doctor, or you can do it yourself. I usually use home blood pressure checker every month to check if my blood pressure is in normal state or not. It is recommended that people with age more than 20 to have their blood pressure checked once in a while.
I’m too young to have high blood pressure, right? Well, I have friends that are still in the early 20 that has blood pressure of 200-120. Those are crazy numbers for blood pressure and strangely my friends doesn’t show any symptoms at all. They got their blood pressure so high due to their family history.
What are the range for high blood pressure? The best number for normal blood pressure is between 120-80 or 110-70. 140-90 is the borderline between normal blood pressure and high blood pressure. Higher than 140 means you have high blood pressure.
