Healthy Scalp Tips

Maintaining healthy scalp is important as it is the foundation for your hair to grow, having a healthy scalp mean having healthy hair. Unhealthy scalp can lead to easy to fall hair, itchy scalp, and also dandruff.

To get a healthy scalp, just follow these tips:

  1. Massage your scalp regularly, as this would help fluent blood flow to the scalp.
  2. Don’t wash your head with hot water as this would strip essential oil from your scalp.
  3. Don’t dry your hair excessively using hair blower as this would lead to dry scalp.
  4. Use proper shampoo based on your scalp condition either it is oily or dry.
  5. For dry scalp use deep conditioning, moisturizer, and lotion to the dry scalp.
  6. For oily scalp use mild shampoo with acid base not alkaline based shampoo.
  7. Balance your diet, as the food you eat contribute to the scalp health. Avoid junk food, eat more fruit and veggies.
