Those who suspect Aspartame for the cause are the people who already believe that Aspartame is bad and they blame Aspartame in every possible chances.

Those who believe that it is caused by other factor and not by the diet soda itself are the diet soda supporter. It is psychologically impossible that zero calories drink cause the weight gain said the Calorie Control Council, a nonprofit association representing manufacturers and suppliers of low-calorie foods and drinks.

Diet soda is marketed as the helper for those who wants to lose weight. The zero calories in them are said to be helpful for those who want to lose weight. In U.S. diet soft drink hold 30 percent of the soda market which was around 3.2 billion cases of diet soda is being sold every year.
