Will Salt Increase Heart Rate

So we all know that salt is not good for your health if consume more than we should (1 tsp per day). That it would cause high blood pressure and ultimately lead to heart disease. What about heart rate? Can salt increase heart rate?
So the question is can high blood pressure make heart rate beat faster? The answer is not necessarily. You can be hypertensive and have a normal pulse.
Now if you are young there is nothing to worry about salt as your body can handle it. However, if you consume a lot of salt while you are young then when you are older your heart is not going to be in shape… Just so you know…
