Can Cat Fur Make You Sick?

My cat fur is falling a lot lately and I know she is sick, but what I want to know is whether the cat fur can make me sick? There are rumors that cat fur is dangerous especially when it enter the mouth or women sensitive organ.
Cat hair itself is essentially harmless but the problem lies in what other things that might lurk in the hair. Cat has many parasite that can cause us sick such as Toxoplasma which is transmitted through cat feces. Bits from the feces could stuck in the fur and thus making it dangerous.
Other disease other than Toxoplasma that could stuck in the cat hair is ringworm or tania which is a skin infection caused by a fungus.
So how do we prevent cat fur from making you sick? Clean the cat regularly. I’m gonna clean my cat right now…
