If this was the first time you hear this question then you might like… What? Of course eggs are healthy, how can it be not healthy? Well, as weird as it sound there are people who think eggs are bad and they avoid it in their meals.

Eggs were supposedly the number one food as it contain a lot of nutrition and health benefits. Eggs contain a lot of protein, 9 essential amino acids, contain lutein and zeaxanthin which are good to prevent macular degeneration (blindness), lots of vitamin D, and some study also say that daily consumption of egg can prevent breast cancer.

So why there are people still think eggs are bad? It contain lots of cholesterol and fat that’s why. A single egg contain around 212 mg of cholesterol while the recommended cholesterol consumption is somewhere around 300 mg per day. Cholesterol is bad for your heart and so eggs are bad for your heart?

A study show that only 1% people that has heart disease is caused by eggs and this number is very small compare to others. Smoking, obesity, and poor diet cause up to 30%. So smoking or obesity is 30 times more likely to get you heart attack than eating eggs.
