How Many Calories Should I Eat A Day

It depend on what you want to achieve. If you ask this question so that you know how many calories should you take to lose weight then the answer is less than your daily calories. You should count how many calories you eat in a day. If averagely you eat around 3000 calories and you want to lose weight then all you need to do is decrease the amount you eat gradually like 2500 calories or so. The same goes if you want to gain weight, just add the calories to the average calories you eat per day.

What about the standard on how many calories people eat in a day. For male adult its around 2500 calories and for female adult its around 2000 calories. If the person is a very active person which mean he/she need more energy then just add 300 calories more.

From the picture above, we can see that average American eat 1200 more calories than average people.
