Foods That Relieve Stress

So I been searching the web on what foods that can relieve stress and it is very laughable that most of the advice they provide is usually a rich and healthy food. Why am I laughing? Because stress is a mental illness and they ask you to eat healthy? What a joke… Healthy food usually don’t taste good and if you have stress then answer this equation stress + bad taste food = ?
Yea sure what they say is good for your body and it probably make your anxiety level low as that is what keep the stress level low but think about it, if you stress up do you want to eat broccoli? or tuna? Why not give food advice that can relieve stress because they are so good and then focus them at solving the problem that cause the stress in the first place…
Here are my advice on foods that relieve stress:
- Ice cream, just like in the movie where people who get stress up from work would eat a whole box of ice cream to make them feel better. Even though in the end they become so fat that they forgot about why they stress out in the first place and feeling stress on how fat they are now…
- Chocolate, chocolate has the ability to release the happy hormon in your brain which make you release some of the stress that you might have.
- Wine. now don’t take this the wrong way, I don’t ask you to be drunk even though this would probably make you forget about the stress for a short time. Sipping a little wine would be beneficial when you stress up because the wine especially red wine has the calming effect if you drink it moderately.
Anyway, foods is good to relieve stress but the stress itself is not going to go away until you dealt with it properly. You need to face what problem what you have and don’t run away from it. If the cause of your stress is fat then forget the advice above and eat healthy…
