Things That Are Bad For Your Skin

If you want to take care of your skin then you might want to avoid these things:
1. Air conditioner - it makes you skin dry because AC takes humidity out of the air, making it drier. Low humidity simply means there is less moisture in the air.
2. Hot baths – hot water strip lipids from the skin and thus make the skin dry.
3. Swimming – frequent swimming in chlorinated water damage your skin.
4. Smoking – by smoking you develop deep wrinkles and blotchier skin tone. It is said that by frequent smoker will look older than they should.
5. Alcohol, drugs, and caffeine – Alcohol increases the level inflammatory agents in the bloodstream which would make your skin sagging over time. Using prescription drugs such as diuretics, or accutane will cause dry skin. Excess caffeine can cause dehydration, disrupt sleep, trigger stress hormones which is bad for your skin.
6. Harsh soap – Healthy skin has a pH of about 5 to 6 on a scale from 0 to 14, but most soaps has a pH between 9 and 10, which is harsh. The use of harsh soap would damage your skin. Look at your soap and see how many pH in it…
7. Not enough sleep - sleep deprivation causes stress, which can aggravate all skin conditions, including acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
8. Bad foods – the food you eat is going to become material for the maintenance of your skin, if you only eat bad food then there would be no material in your body that is going to maintain your skin. Tips: avoid junk food.
9. Too much sun exposure – sure you like to be tan, but if you’re not careful you might end up with bad skin. Too much sun exposure can cause skin cancer.
