Cereals for Breakfast, is it Healthy?
Do you eat cereal for your breakfast like I do and you wondering whether it is healthy or not? The answer would be yes it is healthy but it is not the healthiest breakfast of all.
Quick question:
One bread and one egg versus cereal which one do you think is healthier for breakfast? Obviously bread and egg.
Why?
The purpose of breakfast is to give you power up to start the day and make it last until lunch time. If you eat cereal for breakfast then the feeling that you are not hungry would only last couple hour, it is almost certain that before lunch time you would be starving. That is if you only eat cereals for breakfast without any other additional food.
But breakfast do has its advantage, it is occasionally cheaper and more efficient. You don’t have to cook them, you can make it ready under two minute. While if you want to eat egg and bread then you gonna have to make it in about five minute.
The advice:
If you want to have healthy breakfast then it is better to have full meal like egg, bread, oatmeal, and other real food that would make you full until lunch time. However, if you can only eat cereal as your breakfast then I suggest you choose whole grains cereal (check at its ingredient list, it should contain only whole grain with no trans fat and little or no sugar at all) because its much more better.
