Today I’m gonna tell you the good and the bad from health perspective on coffee. A little research I do for coffee remembering that I am a coffee addict. So you want to hear the good news first? Or the bad one?  I’ll start with the good one…

Heath Benefit from Coffee

Coffee can lower the risk of you getting disease such as diabetes, parkinson’s disease, and also colon cancer. It also might help you increase mood, remove headache, lower the risk of cavities, and also for dieters it can suppress appetite.

Sound too good to be true? According to researcher from Harvard researcher that drinking six or more cup of coffee lower the risk of getting diabetes up to 50%. And also other research that support claim that coffee can lower the risk of parkinson’s disease, colon cancer, increase mood, etc.

Not to mention that coffee is a good social drink beside beer.

Health Risk From Coffee

Of course there is two side in every story. Let’s talk about risk from coffee.

Coffee has been linked to many stomach problem such as irritable bowel and also heartburn. In the long term there is increased risk that you would get osteoporosis.

Shakiness and hard to focus when you are too addicted to the caffeine.

Bad breath and also teeth problem is also one of the risk from coffee. Your teeth might not too white if you drink coffee too much.

Sterility… there are chances that coffee has some impact in the semen making it more unproductive…

It can also increase the risk of heart attack because it can lower the flow of blood into your heart.

The Advice

If you see the health risk and benefit from coffee it seem that coffee do more harm than good ey? But keep in mind that the health benefit in coffee has been researched many times and has been proven to be true while the bad thing has little evidence to back up the claim.

But you should remember that keeping coffee and caffeine level on a normal rate would be beneficial. Don’t drink too much coffee. 2 cup of coffee a day is good for your health but if you drink too many, then I believed that it would do you more harm than good.

It seem I take side in the benefit of the coffee remembering that I am a coffee addict. :)
